#100yearsofmakeupchallenge : 1940's

Hello, my beautiful readers. Today's post is a fun one. I have been really enjoying doing some makeup challenges lately on Facebook, and I get lots of questions about what products I've used, so I decided to show my readers the looks I'm creating, and give you a rundown of the products I'm using. My first post is for a look I created for the #100yearsofmakeupchallenge. This challenge, as it's name suggests spans 100 years of makeup. The challenge is to create a look from each decade from 1910's to 2000's. The look I created today was for the 1940's. I browsed tons of pictures on Google for 1940's makeup looks, and this is what I came up with.
From the pictures I found I saw a thinner arched brow, red full lips, a subtle eye, and a soft rosy cheek. I also recreated a fun 40's hairstyle I found. I love this look. Here's a list of the products I used and how I created this look.

I hope you enjoyed this 1940's look, and I hope you have fun recreating it.
Stay tuned for my next decade look.
Thanks for reading.
