This is a really nice little device. It has a nice protective case that's heavy duty, to protect it from dropping and breaking. The case itself has a kickstand so you can keep the device upright on a tabletop. This has a great digital display with a nice blue backlight. This meter tests voltage, continuity, DC current, resistance, and temperature.
It's very easy to use with a Simple dial and quick plug in test leads. It all looks well made. My boyfriend says it is a good quality meter. This is not a tool for the everyday person, the instructions may as well be written in Chinese for me, but it's a great to for an electrician and useful for a mechanic tracing electrical problems.
If you know the terminology you'll have no problem reading the instructions or understanding the measurements. I think this is a really nice tool, it's light weight and fits easily into a jacket pocket or tool belt. It runs with one 9 volt battery which it comes with.
